This is just totally gorgeous! The funky stripes are a delicious blend of pinks, browns and blues and the asymetrical buttons add that final touch to make this Button Stripe V-Neck Sweater from Next just perfect. Those sleeves look 3/4 length to me (although the description doesn't say) so it would work for those cooler Spring days. Yippee! Sunshine! Yes, the sun is out and I need flowers! This rather fab Floral Trapeze Top from Dorothy Perkins will hit the spot. It's a very flattering shape, the floral design is not so big that it would overpower our small frames and the length will hide any bits that you are self-concious about. They are just perfect to take you into spring - you can wear them with tights at the moment then go bare-legged when the sunshine is a little more, well, consistant. Available in two colour choices, indigo cross hatch (translation: dark) or light denim. They are made from comfortable stretch denim (99% cotton/1% elastane) and come in UK sizes 8 to 18 (US 4-14). The hint of some sunshine this week means that we are all looking out our summer clothes. My eye was caught by these Roll-Up Combat Trousers at Freemans. Roll up trousers mean that you can quickly roll the trouser legs down if the weather turns chilly again! Slight disappointment to find that the petite version of these combats are only available in Mocha & Black, not this lovely teal colour. Coats and jackets are the most frustrating thing for petite people to buy; it's the most expensive type of garment and the one everybody sees, so you want it to look really good. While the weather is still betwixt and between, we reckon that this Ribbed Hoodie Tunic from Land's End would be just perfect; stripes are after all a year-round classic. It's made from 100% mini-rib knit cotton and has a vented hem for ease of movement and a natural fit, not too slim and not too loose. It is available in grey heather, true navy and desert khaki stripes and comes in sizes XS to L which is equivalent to UK sizes 8 to 18. No sooner are the sales over than, fashion-wise anyway, we find ourselves thinking of summer. Whilst pondering my annual break to the sun this Knitted Summer Dress caught my eye. It is made from a cotton/acrylic mix which means it will keep it's shape and those lovely warm shades just epitomise long hot days on sandy beaches. Until then it would also look rather good over a pair of jeans. OK, so you might need a thermal vest under it at the moment, but as soon as the sun comes out, you'll be ready!
